Do you want to work in a kitchen where the pace is sustainable, ingredients take center stage, and the team actually works together?

At Hestraviken, you will work in a nature-focused environment with an emphasis on quality, structure, and job satisfaction.

We are currently looking for a cook for the summer season (June–August) – with the possibility of extension.

Your responsibilities

As a cook with us, you will work alongside our kitchen team and be part of the kitchen's daily production – from lunch to dinner.

Working hours are varied and include daytime, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of lunch and dinner dishes
  • Mise en place and preparation
  • Buffet and à la carte setup
  • Collaboration with the kitchen team
  • Standard restaurant kitchen duties

You will be serving hotel guests, conference attendees, and summer visitors to the area.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working in a kitchen or restaurant
  • Has an interest in cooking and quality
  • Is meticulous, structured, and responsible
  • Thrives in a fast-paced kitchen with good teamwork

Culinary training or previous experience in a restaurant kitchen is an asset.

Hestraviken is a family-owned hotel beautifully situated in nature near Isaberg in Småland. Here, our guests are welcomed with nature experiences, spa facilities, and delicious food in a personal setting. The restaurant is a key part of the experience, and we focus on well-prepared food and high-quality ingredients.
